Home is a horror survival indie game. It has pixel graphics, but that only adds to the feel of the horror. The dull colors are perfectly ingrained into the game, and help assemble the mood and the feel.
As you start open the game it quickly tells you to turn off the lights, and play with headphones. I wonder why. The game is a choose your own path. There are different things that you will find, but you have the option to leave it, or take it. At one point its a possibility to take a gun, and you choose if you want it or if you don't.
Graphics: I love the graphics. The pixel graphics make it feel so unrealistic, but makes it feel more horror-like. The colors are mostly grey and black, and because of that the horror reels in. The combination is perfect making the perfect feeling.
Sounds: The sounds are deafening. Just opening up doors makes you want to run away. There are different things that trigger sounds, like opening doors or going up ladders. The doors are different. In the beginning the doors are wooden and caused a slight sound of the rusty metal that holds it. The doors keep changing. There is one door though that has a high screech and WILL scare you.
Plot: The plot leaves you questioning everything. Here are some things I kept asking myself, "Wait are those the same people? Why does the gun feel comfortable? Why are there bodies here? Why are there two papers?" Creating the story by yourself makes you on a cliff hanger every time. The reason it does that is because your only making one decision at a time, leaving the next a question to a question.

Price: The price is very good. For the price that Steam is selling it for. The price is 2.99
Storytelling: The storytelling is text only. No voice acting. Its wonderful to read it aloud. Especially when there is people around you. The game is a perfect game for playing with other friends, because its scary but the decision making you can make with the other people. When you read it, you should read it with energy, and really act it out, or get someone to read it like that for you. It does change the feel of the game as well.
So if these things sound great to you, either head over to Steam, or head over to their website. Have fun!
